Peninsula | Tumultuous Beauty is a new series of large-scale abstracts launching at Denfair, Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, Thursday 20th to Saturday 22nd June 2019.

This new series of works is inspired by the raw energy and rugged beauty of the Tasman Peninsula – it’s tumultuous beauty, fierce storms, calm tides – of changing moods, energy and colours.

Everyone has their own special place and to me, the Tasman Peninsula is the most beautiful place in the world, where I have continued to visit since childhood.  Each artwork is a point of reference, not only to place, but also to time, as the forces of nature shift and change – from the majestic dolerite cliffs, the colour of the water, the tumultuous seas and a reflection of time at Port Arthur.

Capturing the perpetuity of change - sometimes rapid, sometimes ancient, sometimes physical and sometimes emotive, Peninsula is a series that I have wanted to create for sometime.  Each work is a reflection of my deep love of nature and the ephemeral ebb and flow of the ocean.

Please do visit me at stand 128 as I will be present all three days during Denfair.
