I'm really consumed and loving working on my 'Wave' series. When I came up with the idea of this painting. I marked the date down when the next full moon would be and dragged my lovely children to different beaches to look at the moonlight on waves. There is so much detail, but all in dark tones, as when you go to the beach at night, you know it's all there but you can barely see it. I have tried to capture this, as well as the beautiful way the Moonlight lights up the wave and it's reflection dances on the water.
