New series - Waterfalls

For sometime I have been inspired by the beautiful nature and wilderness areas of Australia.  This new series of works is inspired by many adventures and hikes to waterfalls throughout Australia. Recent trips include the Northern Territory and Tasmania,  swimming and exploring rock pools and waterfalls.  

Water is a common theme among my art works, I love the flow, beauty and movement.  The patterns and energy it creates.  I have used acrylic paints, layered creating loads of texture and intricate detail.  

This series will be ongoing.
